Defiance ETFs has introduced MSTX, marking the launch of the first single-stock leveraged long exchange-traded fund for MicroStrategy, approved for trading in the U.S. by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). According to a recent The Block report, his groundbreaking ETF is designed to offer 175% long daily exposure to MicroStrategy, a company that has gained significant attention for its substantial bitcoin holdings. As of July 31, MicroStrategy owns 226,500 bitcoins, with an average purchase price of $35,158 per bitcoin, amounting to a total investment of $7.538 billion.

MicroStrategy's stock (MSTR) has seen a remarkable rise of about 98% this year, currently trading around $136 per share following a recent stock split. Defiance ETFs CEO Sylvia Jablonski highlighted that the approval of MSTX provides U.S. traders with a unique opportunity to gain enhanced leveraged exposure to bitcoin through a regulated financial product. Jablonski stated that the ETF leverages MicroStrategy's inherent higher beta compared to bitcoin, offering investors a distinct avenue to maximize their leverage exposure to the bitcoin market within an ETF structure.
