Grvt Raises $19 Million Led by ZKsync to Challenge Hyperliquid With Privacy-Focused Decentralized Exchange
Grvt has secured $19 million in Series A funding, led by ZKsync with $14 million, to launch a decentralized exchange designed to solve the “position hunting” problem plaguing large traders on Hyperliquid. Built on zero-knowledge validium technology, Grvt lets traders conceal positions, entry points, and liquidation levels while offering incentives like negative maker fees, token airdrops, and yield strategies. With licenses in Bermuda, partnerships with institutional brokers, and backing from Further Ventures, Grvt positions itself as a privacy-first alternative in decentralized perpetual futures, aiming to capture both active traders and passive investors while challenging Hyperliquid’s dominance.
DBS Partners with Franklin Templeton and Ripple to Offer Tokenised Money Market Fund Trading
DBS Group has teamed up with Franklin Templeton and Ripple to provide accredited and institutional investors access to trading and lending services using tokenised money market funds and Ripple’s USD stablecoin. Singapore’s largest lender will list Franklin Templeton’s sgBENJI token on its DBS Digital Exchange alongside Ripple’s RLUSD, allowing investors to swap between the two and earn yield. DBS also plans to explore using sgBENJI tokens as collateral for credit, while Franklin Templeton will issue the tokens on the XRP Ledger blockchain.
RCMP Seizes TradeOgre Crypto Exchange Over Money Laundering Concerns
The RCMP shut down crypto exchange TradeOgre following a tip from European authorities, citing failure to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. The platform’s website now displays a seizure notice, and authorities have confiscated Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Tron, and Qubic. Investigators allege most funds on TradeOgre originated from criminal sources, with the exchange’s anonymity features facilitating money laundering. The investigation is ongoing, and transaction data is being analyzed for potential charges.
Ethereum Fusaka Upgrade Set for December 3 to Boost Throughput and Cut Costs
Ethereum core developers confirmed that the Fusaka upgrade will activate on December 3, following testnet deployments in October. The upgrade introduces PeerDAS via EIP-7594, enabling nodes to verify portions of data blobs to reduce bandwidth strain and improve rollup efficiency. To prepare, the Ethereum Foundation launched a $2 million Fusaka audit contest with Gnosis and Lido. Two Blob Parameter Only forks will follow Fusaka, raising blob limits from 9 to 15 in December and then to 21 in January 2026 to ease network congestion.
SEC Chair Atkins Says Investors and Banks Will Shape Shift Away From Quarterly Earnings Reports
SEC Chairman Paul Atkins said investors and banks will play a key role in setting the timeline for any move away from quarterly reporting, as regulators advance President Trump’s push to end the practice. Atkins told CNBC that markets should decide the appropriate reporting cadence, with shareholders, lenders, and issuers driving demand for information. While no timeline was given, Atkins said a proposal to revise current rules would be the next step. Trump first raised the idea in 2018 and renewed his call earlier this week.
