In a move exciting investors hoping for easier access to Ethereum, the NYSE Arca exchange has given the thumbs up to listing spot Ethereum ETFs from Grayscale and Bitwise. This news, based on recent filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), signifies a significant step forward for these Ethereum-linked funds.

However, there's one final regulatory hurdle to clear. The SEC still needs to grant final registration for these ETFs, the second step in a two-part process. Industry analysts, including Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas, anticipate that the official go-ahead from the SEC could come as soon as Monday, potentially paving the way for trading to begin on Tuesday.
This news follows similar developments at the competing Cboe exchange. They recently announced that several Ethereum ETFs listed on their platform are also slated to start trading on Tuesday.
